Andrash Group has the X factor with its Plympton forecourt site

X Convenience has marked the spot in South Australia, with their newest forecourt site in Plympton

This family owned independent business operates in both retail and wholesale markets and has 18 sites across South Australia. It offers barista coffee and fresh food, made daily in its own kitchens. The business offers its own brands, including Coffee Station, smokes express and X Burger, to complete this winning mix.

According to the company, its key ambition is to help reduce the ‘friction’ of purchase through enhanced merchandising, sensible bundling of products and speedy payment options in order to create time during its customers’ day.

Everyone moves so fast today, so the most valuable item we lack is time, says X Convenience. At its Plympton store, a small footprint site, X Convenience aims to create a place for customers to have a quick rest and somewhere they can linger. “We wanted to create an environment where customers can take that quick break, refuel, recharge themselves, their phones and soon their electric vehicles; ready to exit, re-energized back into their day,” the company says.

Plympton is designed to cater for many shopper missions including a coffee stop, top up shopping, food to go, food for now and fuel. The store also provides a contemporary indoor seating on a mezzanine area where customers can enjoy food and beverages and relax. Smaller intimate tables and stools are located on the ground level, adjacent to the food offer.

The site offers a Mobil fuel offer, X Convenience store, an own brand X Burger concept, Coffee Station & Smokes Express Tobacconists. The offer is designed to keep current shoppers happy. However, recognising that shoppers wanted more from a c-store, X Convenience developed their own burger offer, X Burger, featuring an extensive menu and striking black and yellow packaging. Coffee Station, meanwhile, provides an own brand barista coffee experience.

Plympton offers a space to relax, refuel and recharge, the company says. “We’ve packed a lot into a small space and we hope you love it as much as we do.”
