Minale Tattersfield helps new forecourt design debut in Morocco

A new forecourt brand has been appearing all over Morocco - on highways, main roads, in cities and villages.

It has been developed by design strategy group, Minale Tattersfield.

The name and symbol are still a closely guarded secret and the designers are sworn to secrecy but they can show you what is currently in the public domain.

The big idea was to break the monopoly of the big three incumbents - Shell, Total and Afriquia - by offering state-of-the-art international standards.

The architecture cannot be hidden and makes a big statement - at least the customers in Morocco think so judging by healthy trading figures.

The first site has been built on the highway between Casablanca and Marrakesh and features a mix of modern and traditional elements to create a comfortable place to rest on a long road trip... the night time illumination is particularly strong.

All will be revealed soon, so watch this space.
